Lavender House, High Street, Elham, Canterbury
Our acclaimed Kent restaurant is located in the village of Elham nestling in the beautiful Kent Downs between Canterbury and Folkestone just minutes from the Channel Tunnel entrance.
Originally the village bakery the Victorian building now has a stylish modern interior with colourful works of art, polished tables, linen napkins and comfortable leather chairs.
The quality and supply of our local produce is superb, so we are able to use really fresh foods of the finest quality nearly all grown locally.
We have access to organic vegetables, chicken and lamb from Jubilee Farm just two miles away and to ‘Forager’, an Elham Valley based wild food company, who supply mushrooms, fungi, hedgerow herbs and salads, seaweeds, wild flowers, fruit and nuts. Our beef and pork come from the rare breed producer Huntsham Farm used by Heston Blumenthal - Fat Duck Bray and Michel Roux - Le Gavroche Restaurant, London. Our fish is supplied by Griggs in Hythe just 5 miles away, a Rick Stein Food Hero.
